One of our customers said she'd be a rich woman if she charged admission to all of the people who wanted to see her new bathroom sink! The sinks are all installed in the same manner: they are dropped into a countertop and are supported by the sink's 1" rim. They support standard plumbing. They have 3 overflow holes. Because the entire process is hand-made, a lot can (and does) go wrong. Two of our producers have said that the sucess rate in making sinks is 10%! For every 10 sinks made, decorated and fired in the kiln, only 1 will be perfect! For this reason, we hand-pick every sink because, believe me, the other 9 sinks are out there for sale. We check warping of the rim and any flaws in the glaze (sharp pieces of kiln shelf hardened in the glaze, crazing or pinholing for example). We are extremely picky about quality of the sinks we sell.
